Install the web experience when it is available

1. Open

   Open the web app in a current supported browser.

2. Install when offered

   Use the browser install control or Add to Home Screen option when your browser and device provide one.

3. Sign in

   Cloud-backed account and room data follows your sign-in; some device preferences and cached data remain local.

What follows your sign-in

• Cloud-backed rooms, messages, files, profile information, and subscription status are associated with the signed-in account.
• Theme choices, saved account hints, notification state, calendar connection state, and offline caches can be specific to the current device or browser.
• Install prompts, notifications, camera access, sharing, and background behavior vary by browser, operating system, and permission settings.

Is there a native installer?

The web app is the public path today. Xaro does not currently publish a Windows, macOS, Android, iPhone, or iPad native release.

Can I use Xaro on my phone?

Yes. Open the web app in a supported mobile browser and use Add to Home Screen when the browser offers it.

Does everything follow my sign-in?

Cloud-backed room and account information follows the signed-in account. Some preferences, permissions, connection markers, and cached data remain on the current device.

Is the web app free?

Base account access is free. Paid account plans and separate optional room subscriptions are described on the Pricing page.
